Polices, procedures and contract may be reviewed for changes.  If any amendments are made by the providers, a written 30-day notice will be given to parent(s)/guardian(s) and an acknowledgement will be provided for the parent(s)/guardian(s) to sign.

Enrollment

-All children will be considered without discrimination as to race, culture, or disabilities.

-All forms are to be completed and returned prior to child care.  All forms are subject to a yearly renewal and must be kept up to date.

-All fees and deposits are to be paid prior to start of child care.

Trial Period

-Parent(s)/guardian(s) and providers agree on a two-week adjustment period.  This is to insure proper adjustment for providers, child and parent(s)/guardian(s).  The following terms and conditions will be met for full-time and part-time care.  Parent(s)/guardian(s) may terminate child care services during the trial period with a 24-hour notice.

Fees

-Holding Fee: A holding fee of two weeks in advance is required to begin services or to hold a space for up to two weeks.  This payment is non-refundable if you change your mind prior to beginning services.  Once child care has started, ½ of the holding fee will be used for the 1^st week of child care and the other ½ will be saved to be used as a deposit for the last week of child care services.

-Registration, Activity, and Insurance Fee:  A fee of $50.00 per child is required every year per child.  This fee covers provider’s out-of-pocket costs, such as insurance premium, crafts and holiday projects.  This fee is non-refundable and is due on the yearly anniversary date.

Hours and Days

-Hours:  Treasured Friends Child Care is open for service from 6:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.  Parent(s)/guardian(s) are responsible to provide the time the child(ren) will arrive and be picked up each day child care is needed.  Also, the providers will need to be advised ahead of time if the child is to be dropped off or picked up at a time other than the normal hours outlined in this agreement.  If a child is not picked up the their scheduled pick up time, an overtime charge of $1.00 per minute is due at time of pick up and must be paid by cash only.

Meals and Snacks

-Providers will supply breakfast, a.m. snack, lunch and afternoon snacks if the child(ren) is/are in child care during the time the meals and snacks are served.  Dinner will not be provided.

-It is the parent(s)/guardian(s) responsibility to give the providers a list of any food allergies the child(ren) has.  The parent(s)/guardian(s) must give the providers a physician’s note advising the providers of the proper precautions to take for food allergies.

-If the child is on special diet, on either a temporary or permanent basis, the food will be supplied by the parent(s)/guardian(s).

-For infants, parent(s)/guardian(s) must supply required foods and prepared bottles.  These items must be properly labeled with the child’s name and instructions.

-Please do not send your child(ren) with any food or drink unless there is enough for the child care center and the providers have been notified first.  Special birthday snacks may be brought in for your child(ren)’s birthday, just notify the providers ahead of time.

Absences, Holidays, and Vacation

-Absences:  Although we realize that child care is a major expense for most working families, we also rely on it to help support our family.  Since we will be holding your child(ren)’s space for you to use at will, we need to charge for the contracted amount whether you use it or not.

Providers Vacation:  Treasured Friends will be closed for vacation 2 weeks per year of unpaid vacation and will give parent(s)/guardian(s) at least one month notice before taking a vacation.  It is the parent(s)/guardian(s) responsibility to arrange for alternate care during the providers vacation.

-Holidays:  Treasured Friends will be closed for the following holidays and will be paid days.  No exceptions will be made:  New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day (4^th of July), Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Years Eve.  If any of these holidays fall on a weekend, the closest weekday will be observed.  If the holiday falls on a Saturday, Friday will be observed.  If the holiday falls on a Sunday, Monday will be observed.

-General:  Parent(s)/guardian(s) are to pay full rates for any vacation, holiday, illness, absence, no-show, fieldtrips, off track schedule, etc. that prevents the parent(s)/guardian(s) from bringing their child(ren) to child care  during contracted days and hours.  This also includes any emergency facility shut down due to personal incidents.  These days are to be paid in advance.  Absences for more than three (3) consecutive days without notice will be considered cause for immediate termination of contract.

Transportation and Excursions

-Unless otherwise agreed upon, parent(s)/guardian(s) is/are responsible for transporting their child to and from Treasured Friends Child Care.

-Parent(s)/guardian(s) are to provide the proper car seat required by law.  It may be either left at Treasured Friends or taken at the time of pick up.

-Your child may go on excursions by car to drop off or pick up other children at school.  If this is necessary, transportation will be provided by an insured, licensed driver, and state laws concerning child safety restraints will be obeyed.

-Occasionally, at Treasured Friends we would like to enjoy the outdoors, when weather permits, to go on field trips.  When any outings are scheduled, parent(s)/guardian(s) will be notified in advance and a permission slip must be signed.  All field trips are paid by parent(s)/guardian(s) in advance.  If the child is not allowed to attend the field trip, it is the parent(s)/guardian(s) responsibility to find alternate care.
