Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s),

Welcome to Treasured Friends Child Care.  We are excited that you are considering our home for your child care needs.  We hope to answer all of your questions and discuss your concerns about child care and the care we will be providing for your child.

As parents of five children, we know how strenuous the process can be when choosing a child care that will fulfill yours and your child’s needs.  We want you and especially your child to feel comfortable in our home environment.  Because we are a small family child care, we are able to provide your child with the quality care and attention they need.  We want your child to know that they are unique, both as an individual and as a team player.  Our website will help you to know who we are as child care providers and what we want to accomplish while your child(ren) are in our care.

Your child should feel like their child care center is another place, besides home, where they can feel loved, cared for, protected and secure.  You as a parent/guardian will have the peace of mind knowing your children are in good hands and that every effort is being made to insure your children are kept safe and well cared for in your absence.  At Treasured Friends it is our ultimate goal to provide a safe, loving, secure, stress free environment that is both stimulating and motivating, it is where children can learn while having fun.

Throughout our daily activities we will target areas of growth and development through social, physical and mental activities.  Some of our many activities involve songs, games, music, story telling, visual media, creativity through crafts and artwork, building materials with clay and blocks, use of their imagination through dramatic play, etc.  Walks and trips to the park allow children to enjoy nature and explore the world around them.  Activities such as these are important for the development of the young child.

At Treasured Friends, we believe that nutrition is very important for children and their development.  Therefore, we provide nutritious meals, snacks, limiting sweets.  However, on special occasions, such as birthdays or holidays, we will have cupcakes (if it is alright with the parent(s)/guardian(s).
